Rahul Mahadevan is Director, Outreach & EHR Services, Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Prior to this position, he was Director of Electronic Health Records (EHR) Services at Stanford Hospital & Clinics (SHC). In his EHR role at SHC, Rahul was responsible for creating, building, and executing on Stanford’s EHR Outreach strategy, i.e. creating a Managed Services Organization within the OCIO to deliver EHR services to SHC’s Foundation, community physicians, referring physicians through their Physician portal, and patients through a patient portal. He was also responsible for all other components related to the development and deployment for SHC of a Health Information Exchange (HIE) strategy and in developing a plan and strategy to enable SHC to evolve into an ACO.
